Career Highlights

Over the last 11 seasons (2013 to 2024), has helped lead Purdue-Fort Wayne to nine winning seasons, five 20+ win seasons, two Regular Season Championships (one Horizon League & one Summit League), and seven post-season berths

In 2021-22, helped lead Purdue-Fort Wayne to the first Horizon League Regular Season Championship in program history

In 2015-16, assisted Purdue-Fort Wayne to the first conference regular season championship (Summit League) in program history

Purdue-Fort Wayne’s scoring offense finished nationally ranked 12th in 2018-19, 21st in 2017-18, and 4th in 2016-17

As an Assistant Coach at Purdue-Fort Wayne, has recruited and coached 36 all-conference team selections, as well as one Player of the Year

Ryan is a man who is involved and gives back to his community and University. Ryan has basketball in his blood as his father, Ray Sims, was a former college coach and has coached in Indiana at Bishop Snider for over thirty (30) years
