MARKETING AND OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Position Overview
The BDS Agency is looking for a full-time support team member who will report to, work closely with, and assist The BDS Agency’s President. This is a vital part of our team, managing a wide range of general administrative, marketing, and client support tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, a proven ability to multitask, and a proactive mindset. This role requires a thorough understanding of the importance of confidentiality and a strong aptitude for being detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing communication with clients and partners; maintain client contracts and documents
  • Provide general administrative support; assist with billing, purchasing, and expense organization; support travel needs, including strategic planning and booking
  • Research content for and design newsletters, social media posts, and marketing items; website maintenance
  • Gather and develop information and documents to assist with client employment contract negotiations, job searches, and interviews
  • Identify and coordinate marketing and outside income opportunities for clients
  • Assist with all aspects of the annual Final Four client party and Head Coach Training Center event, including sponsor acquisition
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the agency’s operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; or higher preferred
  • Prior administrative support experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of the college athletics landscape; prior experience working in a collegiate, professional, or sports-related environment preferred

  • Competent in Canva and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); skilled with social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X; familiarity with WordPress is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; outstanding client service skills and responsiveness
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and high level of professionalism at all times
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality; sound judgment and diplomacy

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (monthly in-person meetings); Based in NJ/PA preferred

Compensation: Base salary, with the potential to earn annual bonuses and commission

Health Insurance: Not directly; monthly stipend provided

Other: Paid time off

Actual base salary is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to, market dynamics, location, experience,specialized skills/training, education, level of responsibility, and budgetary considerations.
